Greenwich, located just east of Charing Cross, is a borough of London. With its Georgian and Victorian architecture still dominating the landscape, Greenwich has become a most sought out place for Well to Do Londoners to reside. The covered Greenwich market has just been refurbished and now boasts elegant restaurants, outdoor cafeterias and fast food barbecues. However, what sets Greenwich apart from other districts in London is the rich cosmopolitan culture, breath taking views of the city and ample green space. Greenwich is also home to many museums and antique homes. With the Thames river just next door, there are ample places to walk, eat and enjoy a cold beer. Today, Greenwich is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
What are advantages of living in Greenwich?

What is Greenwich park
One of the best places to keep fit is the 183 acre Greenwich park. This is one of the oldest of the London's eight Royal parks and contains many walking trails and exotic gardens. Contained within the garden are wildlife that include many species of birds, foxes and deer.
The Old Royal Observatory and Meridian line can also be found here. The park has six tennis courts, child friendly boating lake and many walking trails. You can remain fit by jogging the perimeter of park or along the Thames river. Of course, almost every weekend there are groups of people performing aerobics and dance classes, and you can join them- all for free.
The view towards London and River Thames are breathtaking, especially in the evening
Admission is free and the park is open daily.
