Motivation comes and goes. If you want to improve your health and fitness it is vital that you know how to stay motivated throughout the week.

Some days it will be difficult to hit the gym, go for a run or eat healthy. Below we discuss some of the key methods to help train yourself to be motivated.

1. Set Regular Small Goals

Incremental change is the way to do it! If you set small goals on a regular basis, they will be easier to achieve.

By consistently meeting and exceeding your targets you will stay enthusiastic about working out. Hitting these small targets will help you attain bigger goals and stay motivated.

2. Surround Yourself with Motivated People

It is important to be aware of how the people around you affect your mood. If you want to have a positive outlook you should try and surround yourself with other motivated individuals. Negativity can be incredibly damaging.

Having a positive mindset during training is the best way to push yourself and achieve great things!

3. Rethink Your Schedule

Eliminate unnecessary activities and habits that drain your energy. Retuning your schedule in a way that maximises your ability to stay fit and healthy is key.

Stop doing things that prevent you from focusing on your body. You have to prioritise training if you want to stay motivated.

4. Get a Personal Trainer

Nothing can replace the experience and expertise that comes with a personal trainer. A great PT will encourage and motivate you to exercise. Their input could make a vital difference in your outlook.

I have been a PT in and around London for many years. I have improved my clients’ motivation by helping to set goals, organising schedules and conducting exciting workout sessions.

Staying Motivated

Maintaining consistent levels of motivation is difficult to master. Once you manage to implement the steps above you should begin to find it easier.

An easy way to ensure that you remain enthusiastic about fitness is to hire a personal trainer. A great PT will help you set goals and organise your schedule so that you maximise every workout.

My many years of personal training experience have taught me the value of sustained levels of motivation and the importance of setting attainable goals. It always fills me with joy to see a client overcome hurdles because they are motivated to succeed!

Please feel free to get in touch and book a session!
