Does This Sound Familiar?
- I have no idea where my money has gone…
- It’s only a middle of the month and my pockets are already empty…
- I have £50 to last me the whole week 🙁
- I definitely can’t afford a personal trainer, it is so expensive!
Oh yes, these are the famous phrases of people who have poor or no knowledge about their finances at all. Millions of people have no idea what they spend their salaries on.
And this is not because someone is stealing from our bank accounts (even though sometimes it looks like it), it’s happening because we have poor money management skills and often spend money without thinking.
What to Do?
Step Number 1: The Essentials
Write Down How Much You…
- Earn monthly
- Spend on travel, rent bills
- Spend on clothing
- Spend on food (supermarket)
These are our daily essentials and the rest is what you can spend on booze, restaurants, personal trainer, concerts and lots of more stuff depending on your hobbies.
Step Number 2: Switch Thoughts
Close Your Eyes and Remember…
- The worst hangover day you’ve experienced in your life;
- The feeling after a long walk in the park.
I’m a female personal trainer located in London and for me health and well being is very important. So I will try to convince you that switching booze to personal training is the best thing you can give yourself in the New Year!
Is Personal Training Expensive (Compared to Booze and Restaurants)?
I bet different people get different amounts of spare money to spend after paying for essentials. But I know only one thing – there is at least some money left. Now it’s all up to you where you are going to invest it
- It can be spent on personal development books, courses
- It can be invested in your health – gym membership, hiring a personal trainer
- It can be spent on poison – cigarettes, alcohol, you name it. It is all up to you
By switching booze to PT you are going to:
- Feel great
- Look better
Get number of health benefits, including
- Lower cholesterol levels
- Lower resting heart rate
- Help with depression and anxiety
- Improved thyroid
- Get your metabolism on track
You will get rid of:
- Psychological distress
- Emotional disturbance
Regular physical activity helps to reduce risk of many chronic conditions including stroke, diabetes, cancer and musculoskeletal conditions.
I don’t need to write the benefits of alcohol, because there are none.
Step Number 3: Hidden Benefits
Read the benefits of training again and think why you haven’t started yet. Get more people on board, make it fun.
Switch booze to PT together with colleagues and family and see how different your life is going to be. Couple training / Benefits of doing it together.
How to Get Started!
The easiest way to start healthier life is to hang around people who are into fitness and sports or try to get your family members or work colleagues on board. It’s very hard to change your life style without the help of your close ones. Be the first one to initiate the change!
Not sure where to begin? Never been to the gym before? Need advice about nutrition and supplementation? Don’t hesitate to call/text/email me. I have a big community of people who have the same mindset.
Little changes make big changes.
Don’t drink alcohol for 2 weekends in a row, put money away and in the end of the month invest it in your health. Remember – one step at the time. I have a talent to change people’s lives – read my clients’ stories HERE.
